We did it...

The prestigious Observer Food Monthly Awards have now been announced and we’re very proud to announce that The Ingham Swan has made the runners-up list in the East of England for Best Restaurant – the only one in Norfolk!  The others being The Hole in the Wall and Midsummer House in Cambridgeshire, the Mistley Thorn in Essex and Lussmans Fish and Grill in Hertfordshire.

The overall winner for Best Restaurant was The Palomar in London’s West End.
A full list of the categories and all the winners can be found here.

The award is voted for by readers which makes it very rewarding to receive such an accolade from people who have taken the time and trouble to vote for somewhere that they have personally enjoyed and want to recommend to others.  They said of The Ingham Swan.  “Locally sourced modern British food in a setting that’s as historic as it gets: a thatched roofed 14th-century coaching inn in a village mentioned in the Domesday Book.
