Valentine’s Chocolate Truffles

Chef Patron Daniel Smith’s Valentine’s Chocolate Truffles – who wouldn’t love to receive something homemade with love on a special day! 

Valentine’s Chocolate Truffles

You’ll need

150g good quality chocolate (50%-60% cocoa content is ideal)

75 ml double cream

A little cocoa to decorate


Method

- Carefully melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of gently simmering water (don’t let the water touch the bottom of the bowl).

- Stir in the double cream and chill mixture in the fridge.

- Scoop a teaspoon of mixture and shape into a ball.

- Dust with cocoa
