We’ve got the AA’s seal of approval

The AA Restaurant with Rooms accolade recognises AA-rated guest accommodation that is also a dining destination and we’re delighted to have been awarded their 4 Gold Star classification for 2022. This sits alongside our 2 AA Rosette Award for Culinary Excellence.

AA Star Ratings are awarded following an assessment of three different elements.

1.     Overall Quality.

2.     Five Critical Areas – Cleanliness, Hospitality, Bedrooms, Bathrooms and Breakfast.

3.     Provision of Services and Facilities

We always maintain the highest possible standards for both accommodation and dining for all our guests.  We have a total of seven bespoke rooms.  Four rooms are located just off the central courtyard in the converted Coach House just a few steps from the restaurant. Or stay in one of our three contemporary Superior King rooms, with feature bathrooms, in our Norfolk Flint Cottage accommodation, just yards from our front door.

The Ingham Swan is the perfect place to sleep off a memorable meal before joining us for breakfast the following morning. Start your day with freshly squeezed juice, yoghurt, cereals including the Ingham Swan’s very own muesli, toast (with homemade bread fresh baked daily), scrambled eggs with smoked salmon or go for the Full English with Dingley Dell welfare-friendly outdoor-reared Suffolk pork sausages and bacon.

 The whole team at The Ingham Swan are particularly proud of the Inspector’s comments that ‘the property exceeds AA Quality Standards and comfortably qualifies for a Four Gold Star classification and a Restaurant with Rooms Designation, noting ‘cleanliness was a strength with very good attention to detail noted throughout all areas; the housekeeping team should be thanked for maintaining such high standards.  All public areas were smartly appointed and provided a high degree of comfort.’

Formerly called the Certificate of Excellence, this award recognises those businesses that earn consistently great reviews. Only around 10% of all the businesses listed on Trip Advisor hold a Travellers’ Choice Award – so it’s something that we’re very proud of at The Ingham Swan.
